About

We are award-winning architects, designers and structural engineers based in Clerkenwell, London. Our studio operates across a variety of sectors including private residential, housing, commercial and mixed-use schemes. Founded by Tom and Paul Tasou in 1988, our London studio has been designing exceptional spaces across all scales for over 35 years.

We take on a fabric first approach and work to achieve the highest sustainability standards, including Passivhaus, EnerPHit and BREEAM. We carefully consider the energy in-use as well as the embodied carbon of the materials, creating buildings that are healthy and comfortable to inhabit throughout the year.

Our projects are deeply rooted in their immediate contexts and we have a significant experience in delivering projects in conservation areas and dealing with heritage buildings, taking pride in designing within challenging parameters to achieve outstanding results. Our portfolio demonstrates an understanding of the delicate balance between historical conservation and contemporary intervention, focusing on reuse and re-imaging of existing spaces to provide more sustainable solutions.
