Refurbishment, rear and roof extensions, including a full basement extension to an existing 2-storey detached Arts and Crafts house, situated in Hampstead Garden Suburb.

Care was taken to ensure that the proposals were in keeping with the original character of the property and its surroundings, whilst the internal spaces have been completely reconfigured to meet the client’s needs. A central double volume vestibule creates a spacious entrance and brings natural light deep into the plan and acts as a structuring element for the entire house. The natural palette of rich materials with pared back detailing create a feeling of luxury and forms a backdrop to the client’s extensive art collection.
