Originally built as a department store, 159 – 167 Upper Street had been used by Islington Council as their offices for a number of years. Tasou Associates led the team to install a new frontage to the ground floor and oversaw the construction of 24 flats and nine independent shops, offering vitality to a derelict stretch of Upper Street.
